Yesterday, the Planning Inspectorate wrote to members of the Marsh Green Valley Protection Group, comprised of residents of Marsh Green opposed to a proposal for a major solar farm on agricultural land surrounding the villages of Marsh Green and Westcott, to confirm that the Group had been granted formal status as a party to the Appeal Inquiry.

This follows significant work by the group in the weeks prior to review substantial documentation submitted by the developer, Low Carbon Alliance, and consider how best it can continue to oppose the proposal – which I have been delighted to support, leveraging my expertise in planning practice and policy.

I look forward to continuing to support the Group in opposition to this proposal going forwards.
